Food Service: Temporary Food Service - Am I a TFS?
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I serving food or beverages to the public and not a private group or organization?
- Am I serving items which require refrigeration, cooking or other preparation for service?
Note: Prepackaged non-potentially hazardous items do not require licensure
- Am I serving at a site other than my licensed facility?
- Am I missing an F1 - Food Service on my bar/tavern license?
- Am I caterer serving at an event without a contract in place?
- Am I serving food to support an event or celebration?
Note: An event cannot be created to serve food.
If you answered yes to any of the above, you are a Temporary Food Service.
