Environmental Health - Community Decay
Community Decay is a public nuisance caused by the accumulation of rubble, junk, debris or refuse.
Community decay must be a problem for the entire community, not just one or two neighbors.
The best course of action is to talk with the property owner about the problem. If you have tried that with no success, filing a complaint may be your next move.
For a better understanding of community decay, read the Community Decay Ordinance that was approved April 25, 1990.
This site also contains forms for filing a complaint.
