The Board of Health for the City of Missoula and Missoula County has adopted the Missoula City-County Health Code with provisions for variances in special circumstances. The Health Code is a living, dynamic document. Periodically regulations are updated or modified through a public hearing process. |

State Regulations
Missoula City-County Health Department, Environmental Health Division contracts with the Department of Environmental Quality to do Subdivision Review and Sanitary Surveys of Small Public Water Supplies. In that capacity, MCCHD applies the state regulations that apply to Subdivisions. Some of those regulations are listed below.
