SPECIAL MEETINGS:
- The Swan Valley Community Council's Planning Committee
will meet on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Condon
Community Center.
- The subcommittee will discuss the work plan for 2012 and the process as outlined by Dave DeGrandpre. Click here for the agenda.
- The Swan Valley Community
Council's Planning Committee met on Wednesday, November 2, 2011
at 4:00 p.m. in the Swan Valley Community Hall.
- The purpose of the meeting was to plan for the upcoming Swan Valley visioning project. Consultant Dave DeGrandpre of Land Solutions, LLC lead the discussion. Representatives of Missoula County Office of Rural Initiatives may attend. The public was welcome to attend.
- A Community Meeting with Ken Wall of
Geodata Services regarding community profile maps will be held November
9, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
- The purpose of the meeting is for the council, the planning committee and Ken Wall of Geodata Services Inc., to meet and discuss aspects of the GIS consulting work contracted through the FWP Planning for People and Wildlife Grant.

The Swan Valley Community Council meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Swan Valley Community Center, unless otherwise advertised.

Welcome to the Swan Valley Condon Community Profile and thank you for
reading this document. An introduction to what we are doing is in the
very first part of this document. But to make a long story short, as a
sub committee of the Swan Valley Community Council, we are attempting to
put into words what is important about the Swan Valley in preparation
for developing the growth policy for the Upper Swan Valley. This is a
big task and we need your help. So please feel free to comment, make
suggestions, and tell us what we did wrong or even what we did right.
But most importantly, tell us what you know is important about the Swan
Valley and help us develop a voice for our community, Condon and the
Swan Valley. All aspects of our community and all points of view are
welcomed and respected.
There is a reader’s guide for each section that you can use to organize
your thoughts if you are so inclined, or use whatever method works for
you. You can email your comments or questions to
