Survey Monuments
The survey office has an extensive network of control points in the Missoula Valley. Most of these points are PLSS corners, street intersection monuments, and NGS horizontal & vertical control. In addition to these, are an assortment of project specific control throughout the County. These points have been surveyed using survey grade GPS receivers and static techniques, with numerous ties to NGS vertical and horizontal control. The GPS Datasheets, which can be downloaded below, provide information about those points. The most current positional data for these points is available by request, by contacting Steve Niday.
