Promoting responsible pet ownership through education and enforcement.
Statement of Purpose
Missoula City-County is concerned with the safety of the public and the welfare of all domestic animals in the City & County of Missoula. We are responsible for the following:
- The sheltering of abandoned, stray and impounded animals.
- The enforcement of the City-County ordinances relating to the keeping, restraint and humane treatment of animals.
- The education of the public concerning proper animal care and responsible animal ownership.
- The responsible placement of adopted animals.
Hours of Operation
Monday- Friday 10-5:30Saturdays 12-4
Closed Sundays
We are located at 6700 Butler Creek Road, Missoula, MT 59808.
