HOSTS: Rose.

DESCRIPTION: Rose leaves are distorted, crinkled, with white to yellow discoloration.

LIFE CYCLE: Microscopic virus particles invade phloem and parenchyma tissue. They are obligate parasites and cannot survive outside of their host. Viruses multiply by inducing host cells to form more virus.

CONTROLS:

Cultural: Use resistant cultivars. Remove affected branches or plants. Sterilize pruning tools with a 10% bleach solution.
