Maternal Child Health Advisory Council
Purpose
The Maternal Child Health Advisory Council is charged to provide support to the Missoula City-County Board of Health for the purpose of promoting maternal and child health (MCH) in Missoula County.
Meetings - Open to the Public
Meetings of the Maternal Child Health Advisory Council are open to the public. They are held quarterly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Health Services conference room (Room 120) on 1st Floor at the Missoula City-County Health Department, located at 301 West Alder. The meeting date and time are subject to change or cancellation.

Members
The council consists of 9 to 15 volunteer members. In keeping with the council's charge, individuals are sought who have expertise in areas related to maternal child health (MCH), such as nursing, nutrition, parenting, pediatrics, family practice, child protection, counseling and family development, as well as one representative nominated by the Missoula Indian Center, one parent who has used community MCH services, one student member, and a staff member from the Missoula City-County Health Department.
