Health Boards - Mission, Principles and Plan
Mission
The mission of the Board of Health is to establish policies and advocate for conditions supportive of healthy people, environments, and community.
The Air Pollution Control and Water Quality District Boards share this mission and adhere to the same guiding principles.
Guiding Principles
The current version of the Guiding Principles was revised and adopted by the Board of Health on February 18, 2010.
Strategic Plan
The current version of Missoula City-County Health Department's Strategic Plan was adopted by the Board of Health on May 17, 2012. The Plan's Vision Statement was added and adopted by the board on December 20, 2012.
