About Us
The Community Oversight Committee exists to evaluate the implementation of the Initiative #2,
which recommends that Missoula County law enforcement officials treat adult marijuana crimes
as their lowest possible priority.

The Committee consists of nine Missoula County residents appointed by the County, including:
- three county residents
- one harm reduction advocate
- two criminal defense attorneys
- one civil liberties advocate
- one medical marijuana patient
- one substance abuse and prevention counselor
In addition to gathering data about the initiative's implementation, the Committee also collects
grievances (and any other community relevant feedback). Please contact us
