Property Information System
The Property Information System allows property owners to review their own tax history and State Assessor information online. However, the information on this page is for reference only. No reliance should be placed on the completeness nor the accuracy of this information without first consulting original records and personally verifying the accuracy of any and all information displayed on this page.
Map System
One aspect of the Property Information System is the Map Service. This map service was created as a customized map service that could tie into Missoula County's tax information. In recent months modern browsers like Internet Explorer 7, Opera, FireFox and others have changed significantly causing some functionality issues in our map service. In order to fix the issues we would have to do a major re-write of the map system which we are unable to do at this time. Currently our map service works best in Internet Explorer 6.0.
In the meantime, we are encouraging users to visit the State of Montana's own map service at http://gis.mt.gov. Although it does not tie into Missoula County's tax data, it is still a great map service for identifying parcels and locating the State's assessment data.
Help Desk Services
Our office provides Help Desk services to both Missoula County employees and the general public with regard to online services.
Employees can call the Help Desk when they experience problems with their computer systems whether they are software or hardware related. Our phone number is 258-4727 or extension 4727 for in-house calls. You can also send emails to the Help Desk to helpdesk@co.missoula.mt.us.
The general public can either call us at 406-258-4727 or send us an email to helpdesk@co.missoula.mt.us if there are issues with anything on our website.
