Weddings
It
costs $20 to be married by the Justice of the Peace in the Court House
($5 goes to the County and $15 is the Judge's fee.) You must have your
marriage license and fee turned in before a wedding in the Court House.
To be married outside the Court House or after business hours it will
cost $5 for the Court fee and from $100 to $150 plus mileage for the
Judge. You must have your license and fees to the Court 48 hours in
advance of a wedding outside the Court House. Weddings must start on
time as other weddings may be scheduled that requires the Judge to be on
time.
Wedding Fees
The Judges can only accept cash, money orders, or cashier's checks.
