Prescription Discount Drug Program
Missoula County has entered into an agreement with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and Caremark to offer their Prescription Discount Drug Program to the citizens of Missoula County. This card will benefit uninsured and underinsured residents. There are no enrollment fees, no age requirements, no income requirements, and it has unlimited use.
Local pharmacies will be an important partner in this program's success. Caremark has notified the headquarters of all major drug store chains. This program is similar to the grocery store cards where members get a discount on items when the card is presented. These cards will be provided to your pharmacy by Missoula County with a display container. Residents will be able to take a flyer from the display at the store, detach the card at the top and use it immediately for a prescription drug discount. The card can be used for the whole family.

If you have further questions or need additional cards, please call Pat Buffington, Health Department Nursing Division, at (406) 258-4966
