Administration and Support Services
Services provided by the Support Services
Administration of the Office of Planning and Grants includes activities that contribute to the overall effectiveness of OPG. Examples include workplan development and monitoring; acquisition and management of necessary informational, technical, and financial resources; pursuit of training opportunities; fiscal and personnel management; formulation of operational policies; articulation of departmental goals; and development and maintenance of positive working relationships within the Office, with the public, and with other departments.
Goal. Administration works to maintain effective liaisons and levels of communication with City and County governing bodies, boards, staff and the public, as well as to maintain a high level of customer service, including efficient handling of development proposals and distribution of information to the public. Administration works to ensure that, to the greatest extent possible, staff is not encumbered by lack of technical and operational resources, training, information, efficient procedures, effective distribution of workload, or support and guidance as appropriate.
