City Board of Adjustment
to hold a public hearing on July 27, 2011
to hear:
1) A public forum by the Missoula Parking Commission to exceed
the maximum signage allowance for a parking structure on property at
the southeast corner of Pattee Street and Front Street
2) A variance request to expand an existing nonconforming
detached garage located at 438 Brooks
3) A request to reduce the Shindig Street front yard setback
to build a residence in The Valley Subdivision

City Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on May 25, 2011
to hear two requests:
1) For a setback variance for a shed and carport located at
4003 Lancaster; and
2) For a rear yard setback variance to have a second dwelling
unit for a property located at 628 Edith.

City Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on April 27,
2011 on a request by Community Medical Center for a sign variance to
allow a dynamic display sign located at 2827 Fort Missoula.

City Board of Adjustment
will hold a public hearing on March 23, 2011 for a variance from the owner occupancy requirement for an
Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) located at 628 Edith.

City Board of Adjustment will have a public hearing on February 23,
2011 to hear the following requests:
1) A variance to allow a second story balcony to encroach into
the side setback located at 405 N Grove;
2) A public forum for the YMCA for a wall sign that is not in
compliance located at 3000 S Russell; and
3) A variance for screening of roof mounted mechanical
equipment located at 2811 Latimer (Clark Fork Church).

City Board of Adjustment
will hold a Public Hearing on January 26, 2011 to consider the
following:
1)
A request from David McClain for a setback variance to rebuild and
expand the rear portion of his nonconforming house located at 2204
South 8th W and zoned R5.4;
2) A request by Roger Hall represented by Jackie Johnson Group
and Edgell Building & Development for a front yard setback variance
for Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the River Place Subdivision located in
the RT10 zoning district.

Public Forum on October 27, 2010 for the Emma Dickenson Life Long
Living Center located at 301 S Curtis

City Board of Adjustment to consider a request to vary from the
required 10 foot street side setback for a single family residence
and a detached garage located at 2635 Thames Street at its meeting
on September 22, 2010.

City Board of Adjustment considers two variance requests on July 28,
2010:
1)
Property located at 1241 S 2nd W to vary from the rear yard
setback for an unattached garage; and
2)
Property located at 1200 Shakespeare to vary from the
parking requirements for commercial businesses.

of Montana's Alternative Energy Technology for a proposal that does
not comply and consider a variance request for 1932 Burlington
on May 26, 2010.
