2014 Snow Rodeo Winners
Missoula County Public Works sent four members of the road crew to the 2014 Snow Rodeo held in Great Falls the first week of September. The rodeo is a 2day course that involves training thru written and diagnostic testing on snowplows, front-end loaders, backhoes, and motorgraders. Students were given scores based off of a written test, walk-around diagnostic, and finally the competitive rodeo where they put their experience as well as their newly learned skills to the test! We were given top honors of the '1st Place All Around' and 'Champion of Champions' along with multiple other plaques! We already know our road crew is the best around, now we have the trophies to proove it! Pictured above: Standing - Clint Walker. Kneeling - Billy Kreis, Mike Miller, and Ryan Jones. Great job guys!
