IMPORTANT NOTICE:

If your transaction fails for any reason, you will have to make your tax payment either by standard mail or by coming into the Treasurer's office. The system will not allow another transaction on the same Tax Identification number if it fails the first time. Be sure to use the correct information while filling out the credit card form to avoid a failed transaction.

Paying Taxes Under Protest: Disclaimer

If you plan on paying your taxes under protest, DO NOT proceed with the online payment. Taxes paid under protest must be brought into the Treasurer's Office or mailed in, along with the letter of protest.

Receipt and Acknowledgement Disclaimer

Montana Law prohibits the use of this information for any type of bulk or personal mailing lists without the permission of the parties listed. (Montana Code Annotated 2-6-109)

It is understood that accessing the information on this system acknowledges agreement and receipt to the above disclaimer. Any violation of this agreement will result in a possible punishment of six (6) months in the County Detention Facility, a five hundred dollar ($500.00) fine or both. It is further understood that such a violation will result in the termination of electronic access to this information.
